The Light Of The Moon
well thank you for the lift i said
i’ll see you around
but i think that i can make
my own way now
to walk away will do me good
the air will clear my head
sometimes i need to sleep
in my own bed
with the light of the moon
to guide my way
from the deep of night
to the light of day
i’m caught between the stars
and the cold cold ground
i’m sticking to the tarmac
while the world turns around
i’m caught between complacency
and longing to be free
i’m frozen from the fear of things
that i cannot see
but the light of the moon
will guide my way
from the deep of night
to the light of day
